Simone Horvatin is a licensed Brazilian-German journalist (MTB 0092611/SP in Brazil) and an associated member of BDFJ – Bundesvereinigung der Fachjournalisten e.V. (German Federation of Technical Journalists). She works as a communication strategist and media entrepreneur, bringing over 25 years of experience in communication, marketing, and international business development. Known for her integrity, adaptability, and strategic mindset, Simone is a trilingual professional who bridges Brazil, Germany, and Europe through purposeful communication and sustainability-driven media initiatives.
Her professional journey began at Grupo Digicon in Brazil (1989–1999), where she spent a decade immersed in engineering and technological innovation. During this time, she developed a strong foundation in adaptability and forward thinking—skills sharpened as Digicon introduced CAD technology to Brazil. These formative years instilled in her a lasting appreciation for precision, innovation, and the transformative power of technology, shaping her professional mindset to this day. During this period, she was recognized by Vidar Systems Corporation (USA) for achieving the company’s highest international market growth under her management — a testament to her results-driven leadership and early impact in the tech industry.
Driven by purpose and international vision, in Germany Simone specializes in environmental communication, ESG positioning, brand visibility, and cross-border media strategies. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and German, and is recognized for delivering impactful, multilingual content that resonates across industries and cultures.
